My mission as a guidance counselor at VLHS is to work with each student to help them:
      to DISCOVER their unique skills, interests, and abilities
            to DEVELOP goals, plans and dreams for their future
                 to DECIDE the best path to follow that will enable them to reach their potential and
                      be all that God created them to be.

Hometown: Born and raised in Southern New Jersey

  • BA, Catawba College, Psychology, 1980
  • Graduate Study, University of Georgia, Social Work, 1983

Positions/experience before VLHS:

  • Substitute Teacher, Paradise Valley School District, Christ Lutheran School, and Valley Lutheran High School, 2002-2009.
  • Various related employment post college until 2002, including Director of Crisis Pregnancy Center
  • Admission Counselor for Catawba College.
