This past Saturday, Valley had the chance to host the Rage Christian Music Festival. It was an exciting day as the campus was full of people and activity. There were two stages outside that had music being performed on them from 10:30 am until 6:00 pm. In addition to listening to the music that was playing, there were vendors to visit and people playing games. It was a fun day with great music outside for everyone involved.

At 6:00 pm the concert shifted into the gym where everyone was treated to an excellent concert that went until 10:30 pm. It ended up being 12 hours of Christian music on our campus for people to listen to and enjoy, worshiping along with the artists.

On Monday morning I was at school and had the chance to talk with one of our teachers who lives a few blocks from the campus. He commented that they could hear the music at their house and it was great to hear the name of Jesus talked and sung about throughout the day. I can't help but think the event had a positive impact on the neighborhood.  It was great for Valley to have the chance to share the heart of Jesus with people from all over the Phoenix area who attended the event as well as remind people in our own neighborhood what we are all about.
