For to us a child is born, to us a son is given, and the government will be on his shoulders. And he will be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace. Isaiah 9:6

At Christmas we celebrate the birth of our Savior. We celebrate with gifts, getting together with family, pageants, and eating a lot of food. We celebrate because we have a God who loves us so much that He was willing to send His son Jesus to earth for us. Christmas is a time of Hope, Peace and Joy, because those are some of God’s attributes that Jesus brought to us on earth. As we celebrate this year, let’s remember the tremendous gift we received on that first Christmas. Let’s also remind ourselves that this gift is still with us today. No matter our season of life, God is with us and never leaves us alone. Celebrate with a Hope, Peace and Joy that is still ours today because of all God has done for us.
