Awards are determined by the school tuition organizations (not VLHS) and are based on need and availability of funds.  Application does not guarantee an award will be granted.  It is the responsibility of the parent or guardian to arrange for payment of all tuition not paid by either association church scholarship or a tuition assistance program.

Funds awarded to students by STO's are credited to a tuition account at the time the award is made.  Any balance due on the account is the responsibility of the parent or designated responsible party.  Awards made to students who are not enrolled at the time the award is made are returned to the funding organization.

Professional Church Worker Discount
Parents who are employed full-time and rostered with The Lutheran Church-Missouri Synod are eligible for a discount.

Home Congregation
VLHS students have requested and received financial assistance from their home churches.  Many parishes are willing to contribute monies to send children to a Christian school.  VLHS encourages families to speak to their pastor.
